For the last 25 years, I´ve been actively involved in continuing banker education
serving as faculty member and thesis advisor of the Stonier Graduate School of
Banking, extension problem director of the Pacific Coast Banking School, faculty
member and author of the Interim Problem of the ABA´s National Commercial
Lending Graduate Schools and currently as an instructor of on line courses for
the ABA. In 2003, I developed a related on line course for community bank
directors. For the last three years, I have participated in bank director education
activities in webinars and telephone conferences.

EXPERT WITNESS |

During the last several years I have served as expert witness in a variety of lawsuits for both plaintiffs and defendants. These matters have included lender liability, customary bank policies and practices, a bank attorney sued for legal malpractice and alleged abuses in credit card collection practices.

CREDIT POLICY |

During my working career, I've authored credit policies for four different banks ranging in size from a relatively small community bank to large regional banking companies.

PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT |

My principal experience during the years between 1982 and 1994 has been in the management of portfolios of troubled assets beginning with oil field related credit in Midland and Oklahoma City progressing to a problem bank in Albuquerque with a variety of commercial and real estate credit representative of the bank's business base.

CORPORATE FINANCE |

In the early 70s I interrupted my banking work to serve three years as the Director of Corporate Finance for the Florida Gas Company, a New York Stock Exchange listed company headquartered in Winter Park. I was the principal assistant to the chief financial officer in all matters excepting regulatory accounting including oil and gas drilling, manufactured housing and a large land development project near Disney World in Orlando.

In 2008, I became a principal in a three member consulting firm, ABO Resources, dealing with ethics in the workplace.

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT |

My community involvement includes the chairmanship of Catholic Charities for the Archdiocese of Santa Fe and treasurer and city-wide drive chairman of the United Way of Central New Mexico.

I hold a Bachelor of Science degree from Boston College and a Master of Business Administration degree from Columbia University. I make my home in Albuquerque, NM and San Antonio, TX
